Net salary calculator
Calculate how much of your gross salary you take home after tax withholding, the pension contribution and the unemployment insurance contribution. If you don't know your tax rate, the calculator estimates it based on your municipality of residence.
You can find the percentage on your tax card or in MyTax. If your income exceeds the income limit on your tax card, use the additional rate.

How the calculator works
The employer deducts tax withholding from the gross salary at the rate on the tax card, as well as the employee's pension contribution 7.3 % and unemployment insurance contribution 0.89 %. Health insurance contributions are included in the withholding rate.
The unemployment insurance contribution is collected from people aged 18–64. In 2026, the pension contribution is the same for all ages.
The estimated tax rate is the share of 2026 taxes and contributions in the annual salary (12 × monthly salary) in the selected municipality of residence. It is based on the state income tax scale, municipal and church tax, Yle tax, health insurance contributions and the basic and earned income deductions, and it matches the Finnish Tax Administration's tax rate calculator. The estimate does not take into account holiday bonuses, other income or other deductions.
The calculator gives an indicative estimate and is not tax or investment advice. Check your own situation with an accountant or the Finnish Tax Administration. Find an accountant
