How the calculator works
Employer's side costs are calculated as percentages of gross salary: pension contribution (on average 17.1 %), unemployment insurance contribution 0.31 %, health insurance contribution 1.91 %, accident insurance (on average 0.51 %) and group life insurance (on average 0.06 %).
When the company's annual payroll exceeds 2,509,500.00 €, an unemployment insurance contribution of 1.23 % is paid on the part above the limit.
The calculator assumes the employee is aged 18–64. Holiday bonuses, holiday compensation and other supplements under the collective agreement are not included in the calculation.
The calculator gives an indicative estimate and is not tax or investment advice. Check your own situation with an accountant or the Finnish Tax Administration. Find an accountant
